Cook in the moment with me at ladomestique.com

I’m Jessica of la Domestique, a site dedicated to the kitchen, pantry, and garden. Food and hospitality are my passion. I love learning about ingredients and techniques. The focus of this journey is becoming an intuitive cook. I believe maintaining a seasonal, well stocked, organized pantry is an irresistible invitation to cook at home. I hope to inspire you to cook without recipes, using what’s on hand in your own cupboard.

At la Domestique, learn the story behind pantry ingredients and how to let the seasons be your guide. Remember what it feels like to stimulate your senses: the sweet smell of a ripe strawberry, the sour taste of fresh squeezed lemonade, the silky feel of homemade bread dough, the sound of a steak sizzling on the grill…

I contribute a weekly column, every Tuesday,  to the Whole Foods Market “CookingBoulder.com” website blog. This exciting new community project is a collaboration between Whole Foods Markets and Food52.com. You can check out La Domestique articles and recipes by Clicking Here to visit the official CookingBoulder.com website.

Once a week, FOOD52.com recognizes a food blogger from around the world that inspires them.  I have been very fortunate to have been selected to appear in the “Reciprocity” section of the FOOD52.com website in September 2011. You can check out the full article HERE or by clicking the FOOD52 logo below.
